Making A Career Change At 50
Billie Said:
My Boyfriend went to school to be a mechanic and now wants to change his career? We Answered:
talk about doubting your man...geez give the guy a breakI did electronics for 6.5 years (4 years in a voc school)
after 2.5 years I dropped out...I absolutely HATED electronics and only followed it because I believed that the field would give me more money in the end....I tried for 6.5 years to "like" what I was doing but I just couldn't grab it....and in the end, I wanted my happiness over money
I currently make $20 an hour and all I do is sit on my *** and talk to technicians....so it IS possible to make a good amount of money without a degree
don't get me wrong, I would like to get a better job and a degree to back me up...but seriously let him think about what he wants and support him more, he will find something..
I agree with you however on the place that he is at...he does need to move on...maybe he should consider HVAC or Plumbing...or hell electrical work!...
he'll figure it out

What's the best construction field to get into?We Answered:
Hisound like you do not want to get to dirty
1. Electrician is one you need to be in shape
2. Painting you need to be expose to some chemical
3. Carpenter: hard work
4. Plumber: hard work and some chemical used
the best would be welfare.
sit at home and wait for the check

Would you sacrifice a financially free life at a job you enjoy for a shot at your dream job?We Answered:
To excel in life passion is the most important thing. But we get fooled when young thinking this or that is my passion. Think clearly and decide where your passion is. If it is in your dream job go ahead and pursue it. It may not bring success immediately but the passion you have for it will drive you towards success. Going after a safe job will keep you on an average through out your life and you will from time to time curse yourself for the decision.
