When I was in school, the Collega of Architecture used AutoCAD. Their thought was that with knowledge of AutoCAD, you gain the basic familiarity with CAD software and learning other CAD software once you learn AutoCAD is easy.

I was in the same position last year but I'm 44 and had two restaurants of my own. I sold one, am keeping the other going spending limited hours there and starting to focus on other directions. The direction I chose, however, kept me in the only business I know and love, food and beverage.

The key is to find what you love (and if he has been in the business that long he already has it in the blood) and find a way to make a living at it.

With the internet explosion and the ease of creating successful web sites today there are a multitude of ways to make money in the business without even stepping into a restaurant.

Ballgowns and evening gloves. Proper, vastly full skirted silk / satin ballgowns with slim fitting, boned bodices. Also elbow length silk / satin evening gloves. I am lucky enough to own 4 ballgowns but 2 were purchased abroad and I paid an absolute fortune for them
