I'm not sure there is such a thing as "THE" bookkeeper exam. There is the CPA Exam but that requires the euivalent education of a Masters Degree with a certain number of accounting courses (when I took it they required 13 accounting courses).

Different companies would have different requirements to be a bookkeeper - I would check some job openings out online. Some would probably hire you and train on the job - altho Im not sure about right now, in this economy.

Sure, there are a number of administration jobs you can take, depending on your undergrad - accounting, admissions, field placement office, employment placement office, student affairs, etc.

James does not get paid once a year.. i don't know who told you that, or where you heard it. but its wrong

If he is on salary all that means is that he gets paid a pre-determined income yearly. He isn't getting paid by the hour.

He most likely gets paid every two weeks. and at the worst he gets paid once a month.. so lets say james salary is $52,000 a year... He would make $2,000 every two weeks (less because they take out so much for taxes, and what not), or $4,000 every four weeks..
