Gary Said:

Qualifications gained at later age?

We Answered:

Have you thought about training to be a nurse? your qualifications would get you straight in. Its three (or four for the full degree) and will take you up to the age of 52+

Your degree could be extremely useful as a nurse, as you could go quickly into mangement, but still if you wished continue to be in the clinical setting.

A junior nurse starts on around £20,000 raising to 26,000 as a clinical sister.
Band 7 (ward managers) in England earn around £38,000
You could become a non-clinical manager going straight in to management.

What is the best book to learn C++ Programming without prior experience?

We Answered:

If you really want to be a game programmer, you can have one of these course packages from Game Institute.

http://www.gameinstitute.com/courses.php

You can buy these books completing one after another:
1. Teach Yourself C++ By Herbert Schildt
2. The Wite Group's C++ How to By Jan Walter, Danny Kalev, Michael J. Tobler, and so forth.
3. The Complete Reference C++ By Herbert Schildt
4. C++ Cookbook By Jeff Cogswell, Christopher Diggins, Ryan Stephens, Jonathan Turkanis

This will bear you good results learning C++.

C++ How to Program by Deitel is not a bad book. But it needs you to go through every page of it. It is not giving you instant results or answer any questions instantly, which is, to me, is a very boring process.
