Marion Said:
How can I plan a career in Child development if I want to work in another state? We Answered:
Yes, they can differ from state to state. With a 2-year degree in early childhood ed and some experience in the field (do some volunteer work or try to get a part-time job now), you'll be able to teach at many private programs. I know in my state you could teach at Head Start, but I don't know about others. To work at a public school, the requirements vary hugely, ranging from no requirements at all other than some experience with kids the whole way up to a formal certification program.
