The only few things I can think of are....

1. Show the kids in the care center all the jobs available to them have some fun and not so fun ones like... Professional Baseball Player, Astronaut, Fire person...and then stuff like Lawyer, Cashier at wal*mart. Night Stalk for Wal*Mart.

2. Show a job ladder (so order of power) for those who work iin a child care center. So at the bottom have guy who cleans up diapers, and at the top have the person who takest he money.

3. And the very last thing, is make a ladder showing all the jobs you can have as you progress with your education. So lets say you don;t have a highschool diploma, you can be janitor of a high school, with one you can work at McDonalds and so on.

You can't go wrong with either. There's a lot of both out there. Our company is all .Net - so if you wanted to work for me, you'd choose .Net. However, I know there's a strong Java field out there, too. I think it's more so a case of which do you enjoy.

Some have also said that the transition from one to another isn't impossible either.
