Hippie-related work = Very insecure career, very low-paid, and very little chance of making a decent living, and very high chance of being a burden on society.

I suggest going for a 'serious' subject. Ideally, a 'STEM' (science, technology, engineering, or medicine)-related thing. By being good at what you do is better for the society than shouting about how other people are doing their job.

We live in a capitalist world, and whether we like it or not, we need to work hard to survive rather than shouting about how unfair it is - after all, protests don't pay the water bill at the end of the month.

You can do all the protesting you want in your spare time.
