In most cases, there is not a specific certificate or degree requirement. A nurturing personality with lots and lots of patience is probably the biggest requirement.

Your mom's friend is probably your best source of specific local information since she is already in the system.

Encourage your mom to go for it. We can never have too many caring adults in our kids' schools!

Phase 7 is the phase where the story begins to take its last steps, yukki and seiji are now almost entirley taken over by their new personalitys, and this is also where the story of yukki's mom is revealed (im thinking something about an old photo album and a last testamant) and we begin to learn that its her doing why her son is now a girl.

Phase 8 see's the hinting go out the window. yukkis mom appears to her while she is in the grips of a fever reminisant of that which she suffered from in phase 2 and tells yukki that its time to make a choice, choose between his old life, or her new life. at this point yuukis old personality and the new personality that come rushing in and are at war with each other. yuuki suffers from this in all areas.

Phase 9
the time has come for yukki to make the choice, so alot of past reflkections from both lives will be present in the chapter, as yuuki battles to decide how he was happier. The story basically concludes here when yukki realises through some shock (this will have something to do with the love i mentioned earleir) that the life he once had is now dead and gone, and that the life she has now is infinatley more preferable,

Phase 10 is the final wrap up, a monologe of yuuki and seiji's feelings now that the choice has been made, showing the next period of their lives and how they come to terms with the events of the past year (time frame of the series).
