Arthur Said:

I feel like my brain is full - I always forget things at work, and seem to keep getting things wrong.?

We Answered:

I think I've been where you are. In my case I had a huge amount of stress in my personal life, and my stress level at work was astronomical. I was having trouble sleeping. I would get to work and feel so overwhelmed (I did payroll and HR so no one else could help me because of the confidential nature of my work) that I would lock my door and just sit and cry. I couldn't focus for more than maybe 5 seconds at a time because I was so tired. None of my work was getting done and I was getting yelled at about it. I should have gone to see a doctor, but I let it drag out until I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. I thought I was in a depression, but the doctor didn't think so. He said I needed sleep and gave me some non-addictive sleeping pills. Once I started getting enough rest then things got much better.

Have your habits changed with regard to sleep, appetite, desire for social contacts? Are you having trouble focusing or concentrating? Do you find your work boring? That was a big thing for me, too. When my heart wasn't in it, I just let things slide.

If you've noticed changes in your personal habits, maybe see a doctor. Maybe you're not getting enough quality rest. Or maybe it's time to get another job.

I really hope things work out well for you!

Kathy Said:

Can someone please critique my resume?

We Answered:

you need to add skills section, on it list all kind of professional and personal skills you have (like typing speed, team working). Also in experience list all kind of duties in detailed points you used to do.
You can add hobbies and interests and personal and education references.

Penny Said:

How to re-write this in a resume?

We Answered:

Name your skills and experience.

Patrick Said:

My major is Criminal Justice - Should I minor in sociology or get a specialization in "Security management"?

We Answered:

With a degree in Criminal Justice, you're most likely to have a long career as Mall Cop, so perhaps Sociology would be most useful.

On the other hand, if you have a burning desire to be a front lobby Security Guard for an insurance company office building, Security Management might be just the ticket.
