Resume question for anthropologists.?We Answered:
Find out what the job description at the non profit is. Then tailor, in order, your resume to it. It's less what you've done and more how well do you skills "fit."We expect they would be lots of clerical work, office machines, and people contact. What are your skills there? What leadership and people skills do you offer?
Look at: "This job includes surveying land for new and previously recorded archaeology sites" Now read it as someone who doesn't even watch archeology on TV. Jargon and assuming people have knowledge of a specialized field doesn't help hiring.
What about "gee whiz' stuff? How many people have you supervised? How much money did you handle? What about computer skills?
What is their "ideal person" going to look like? How well can you fit that mold?
