Career In Development Sector

Craig Said:

A welcome development or a welcomed development? What is the correct phrase?

We Answered:

Both are correct, but your choice is preferable.
"Welcomed" would tend to emphasize the adjective rather than the following noun.

Justin Said:

What are the career options for entry level IT people who have been hit due to job scarcity in IT sector?

We Answered:

I do NOT think that now is any different from any other time in terms of job prospects for graduates... Some companies still run graduates' induction programs in their field - try to look up any software development (or just larger) companies in your area and contact them to see if they have options like that. You may find that these options will be limited, you might have to work for (comparably) low salary, but it is a start...
I started in 1992 in UK with the salary of £15K, now I am working on contracts (considerably better pay) for the last 11 years...
With (any professional) employment there was always catch 22: no experience => no job, no job => no experience...

Raymond Said:

Hi help me to decide something about study further?

We Answered:

You are already uncertain about your future, why would you want to go into social work? This is not a promising sector for a graduate of your age.

Especially, you have two degrees in very good fields. You can get a good job with them.

I suggest you go for Business, get a well-paid job without having any worries and when you are settled with that and have nothing else to worry about, you can follow what you wanted in Developement sectors.
