Larry Said:

Did I screw my career up by doing several different things as opposed to sticking with one thing?

We Answered:

SAM!

NO, NO, and NO!

Did I say NO?!

You can always tailor your resume to reflect the number of years the prospective job wants to see.

On the other hand, I have been in the same field throughout my career (engineer in different industries). I'm "locked" in because I have nothing to fall back on. You have many choices! You just have to make your resume reflect it.

essay for FMS. Management of services and why frm fms?

We Answered:

I have a question for you. How am I suppose to know why you want to pursue this and how it might help pursue your career goals? I don't even know what your goals are!

I am really not trying to be mean. But, if you can't express your reasons and your goals in this field...maybe it is not the right career for you.

Instead of asking for a quick fix, I would suggest being honest with yourself and writing about that...if it is as simple as financial security and an interest in this field, then so be it. Communication is a very large part of FMS and you will have to do it sooner or later.

Hope this helps.
