IT global job market is huge..every year millions of fresh IT personals on the job seeking q and ready to work below the average..and these mentioned companies are well established..companies well established that already making tones of money don't bother about who comes who goes..they just fix some un achievable targets to fire high paid personals and recruit new ones paying very low..this will be continued unless the relevant governments review the employment rules and regulations..

I think your personal statement is really good (: you write really well and you have great grammar btw. However, I think it might be a bit too long. My personal statement was long like yours and my teacher did make me cut out a bit. But that's just my teacher, she done it for everyone -.- I like your personal statement and if you are going to make any changes, don't waffle or repeat. Also, check when you're going to send your application off that it fits on the UCAS site and it's not more than 42 sentences.
