If the course code ends in a "V" then you should be able to get the course for free as it's vocational and you are unemployed, but the best thing to do would be go and ask your job centre for an interview and tell them why, they should be able to help.

your bad credit should not matter, unless you owe money to the student loan people and it would only matter if you were asking them for any money.

Loans suplemented by the US government have a thing about spending the money in the us. There are a FEW approved schools out of the country, but not many. Here is the fed goverment list of approved schools

When it asks for STATE, select "foreign country".

I am in a similar situation as you, wanting to do a MSc this autumn. They are good if you dont want to pay as you are studying, and the credit scoring acceptance is lower than a normal unsecured loan. I value the Advice of Marin Lewis. You have to consider how many years the course is and the funding for books and so on. It is a decision not to rush into and needs a lot of thought. If you do go for an unsecured loan, be careful who you choose, I rang up a well known one and the said yes to a certain amount, gave figured, then back tracked. This company I am taking to the small claims court for an administration fee they conned out of me and have reported to trading standards. Now I have debt management companies contacting me, just because I want a loan. I will wait for CDL, now.

cheap education support loans r easy to repay once u finish ur education so if u take more time ofcourse u need to pay exttra intrest but u can insur againt it if u remain unemply after geting digree
