The role of human resources management in career development? We Answered:
There is a lot of room for career development in human resources, as with most careers. In HR, there are a variety of day to day tasks, as well as long terms ones, that you will be a part of in human resources. A lot of it does depend on the size of your company, the smaller the company, the more hats you'll be expected to wear, whereas in a larger company, you may have less items you are responsible for.Generally, those in human resources focus primarily on:
- Managing employee benefits
- Managing recruitment of new talent, interviews and hiring
- Front desk/reception work
- Overall strategic planning
- Labor relations management
- Compensation management
Hope that helps!
