Coaching Career Development

Linda Said:

I am 30 years old and unsure of what direction to take my life?

We Answered:

You should start and finish an apprenticeship in a demanding trade.

Wade Said:

Should I coach my son myself or have him coached by a more experienced coach?

We Answered:

The earlier he masters being a catcher the better off he is, it is a very tough position and even in the pros the catchers are still learning. If you want him to be a solid baseball player and you do not have the knowledge that the other coach has then I would give him to the coach. As long as you just don't throw him right to the coach, he should be fine. Have him meet the coach and become buddies with him and it will be no problem.

Make sure the element of fun is still in the game.

Franklin Said:

What do you think the problem is? And how to solve it?

We Answered:

Hi Ferial,
While reading your words I felt very happy as it seems you have reached a very special time in your life. A time where searching for the purpose of your life is more important then anything else.
It is a huge transition and you are actually on the right track in many ways.

In the right time, which is when the point in the heart awakens, the creator provides each person the perfect conditions for his/ her spiritual advancement.

At this unique point in time a person gets given:
1. Rav- a teacher who has attained spirituality. A kabbalist from a certified linage of great kabbalists
2. Books- Special books which facilitate a person in attracting the surrounding corrective lights.
3. A Group- Spiritual study can be done only with in a group (hence your internal need to find like minded people).

What I can offer you is to direct you to this great teacher, books and group, There are all under the umbrella of Authentic Kabbalah studies.
Kabbalah is a scientific method for the inner realization of the creator.

Lauren Said:

Need job variety changes, but how do I advance my career?

We Answered:

Wow, very interesting question. It's excellent that you want to always learn and try new things -- you're much more likely to never be unemployed as a result.

In order to advance in your career, I suppose you could simply market yourself as a guy who knows how to do everything, who isn't afraid to take risks, who has an insatiable appetite for new challenges, who can manage a diverse group because he knows about a lot things. On this last point: I have encountered a fair number of mid- to high-level managers who I *wish* knew about more than just what landed them in their overpaid job.

Amanda Said:

Should I coach my son myself or have him play for a more experienced coach?

We Answered:

You answered your own question.

To top it off, my son loves me as his coach. He has this sense of pride when I'm shouting at him on the baseball field. I'll totally chew him out and he'll smile and yell "YES COACH". He believes that my full-time job is being a coach and my career is something I do part-time.

The competitive leauge won't be as much fun. The better players play. Heart isn't rewarded near enough. My youngest played for Little Leauge for years which was perfect and whne we switched to the Babe ruth league by our house it was much less fun. He was growing so fast his knee's and feet hurt alot. He could no longer run as fast so he spent all his time at the batting cage so he could slam the balls. He was never going to play pro so why take away the fun?
Go with your heart Dad. Good for you and your son. I bet he'd ask you to stay where he is.
