What are my career options with an associates degree in Early Childhood Development? We Answered:
I'm getting my degree in that as well....You can work anywhere where there are kids...Day care, churches, private buisness(if you don't want to work for anyone else and earn your own money) But you will need to be certified for that...You can also work for schools as well...Your course should have everything explained in it when you signed up, or when you finished it, or you can give them a call and ask them about it....Call around your local business and see who's hiring and get your career startedRalph Said:

is studying early childhood development a good idea? bachelors degree? We Answered:
I definately think you should go for it if it is what you love. My boss was a male at my last centre and I find that children are drawn to men because they are used to all the women, Having a male in the centre is great. Especially for boys! they loved mt boss and would have fun outside playing soccer with him or singing with him.My boss was married with 2 children and It didn't seem that working with women affected his marriage. His wife would often come and drop their children off and stay and have a chat with the other workers. It seemed that she was very happy for him to be working in child care. I think you would be okay with it, If you had a loving and trusting partner.
I am studying Bachelor of Education - Early Childhood. I started this week through correspondance and it is not as scary as i thought it was gunna be!! it is a fair bit of work though and you have to be commited to push through.
It sounds like you will be a great Teacher, And it sounds like you really like kids!
