Examples Career Development

Angel Said:

What are your secret tricks for job seeking, career development, cvs, interviews?

We Answered:

You will stand a better chance if you can 'identify' with the company / interviewers ..

Research the Company, try (as far as possible) to find out anything you can about who's interviewing you (ask the receptionist for names and preferred mode of address (calling a "Ms" Mrs. or a "Mrs" Ms. could sink your chances = get it right and you become a 'like minded person') .. and see if you can find out about their personal interests & hobbies ... if there's a Cricket fan, slip in a cricket phrase (I'm sure you know the drill == just like all SELLING, step 1 is "identify with the customer")

One place I worked at, most of the 'Senior Management' were "model railway" enthusiasts (OK, it was hard to see if they only hired / promoted 'people like them' or if the junior management took up model trains as a way of 'enhancing' their chances :-) )

Check with your state employment agency. There are so many agencies the Incorporated this into their job descriptions. That is the best way to find what more options you have and you may even end up with a job. That is especially if you are just starting out to work or trying to determine what field you want to go in.
