The best resource for writing a resume is a book called "Knock 'Em Dead Resumes". They just came out with a new edition addressing the most current issues in today's job search.

You should incluide any outstanding acheivements, goals met or anything else that helps you stand out from the rest of the competition. This is the most imp[ortant thing that employers look at these days. They do not necessarily care where you have been but what have you acheived?

Also, no one cares that you were on the dean's list. Get rid of that and just enter your GPA.

One other thing I would suggest is to rewrite your objective with something that leaves more of an impact/lasting impression or just omit it altogether. Most people use a summary and a bulleted list at the top of your resume that includes your areas of expertise. This makes it easier and quicker to scan.

You should be including cover letters in all your resume submissions and the cover letter is where you connect their specific requirements to your skills/qualifications. This should NEVER be generic.
