This sounds like typical "character education". If character is about doing the right thing regardless of rewards, then what is the purpose of talking about how it might enhance careers?

Enhancing your career might be a great result and reward but character is not about reward. Neither is character about fear. A person of character does the right thing without regard to fear or hope of reward.

People of character have had their careers ruined by being honest. Honesty doesn't always help, in fact, it often doesn't.

I'm sure the teacher asking the question wants you to say that moral values such as honesty will build for you a reputation such that employers and everyone else will value your work and trust you. The problem is that it is a reputation of honesty that enhances your career, not actually being honest.

Real character does not concern itself with building reputation; reputation can be (but not necessarily) a byproduct of character.

Character is doing the right thing for the right reason and disregard the consequences (but still be aware of the consequences) either good or bad.

There are many ways to go about becoming a life coach. I took a 3 month course, but to be honest with you, it wasn't that big of a help. Yes, I was able to connect with other like minded people who also wanted to coach others, but it seemed to cliche and uncomfortable sometimes. Everything had to get done by the book and wasn't very fulfilling in the end. Depending on your budget, you can choose from countless classes from free to thousands of dollars. Google how to become a life coach and the choices may surprise you.

My advise would be to start looking for others who might want to venture with you. Post a question, give your e-mail so others can reach you. Start a website or a blog and write about your experiences with self development, suggest to others that has worked for you. If you like writing...and most coaches do, then write articles and submit them to free directories.

I-banking is a good stepping stone if you want to go on to a career in corporate finance in a conglomerate. it is always a dream to be in a conglomerate, and going the i-banking route is a nice take-off point.
