What can I do with Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences: Professional Development and Advanced Patient Care?

We Answered:

I am not sure what jobs you can get specifically, but try to get a job in administration, patient care at a hospital, nursing home, or even try a group home. This may help you as well as open up doors to other possibilities so that once you are done with school you will have a job (career) waiting for you. Hope this helps you and good luck to you in your future endeavors.

How can we use distance education for Professional development?

We Answered:

A rapidly increasing number of adults and young people worldwide are aspiring to higher education of some kind. Building more training centers and universities to accommodate everyone isn't economically possible for many countries. Distance learning may be the answer to the problem.

As it is now, the "digital divide" separates the technological haves from the have-nots, including access to distance education and professional development. This is a major obstacle worldwide.

However, in both developed and developing countries, the internet holds the power to offer cost-effective means to provide access to higher education and training opportunities. Distance training and education could transform dramatically from its elite status to a more popular one.

But the digital divide isn't the only obstacle facing adults seeking distance learning programs. Especially in developing countries, a stark financial divide also exists. Even for those people with access to technological infrastructure like the internet, online training is often expensive. Many professionals and businesses cannot afford the often high prices of training.

I want to go to a reserve team or skill development program to become professional in soccer?

We Answered:

I heard of a parent who videotaped his son playing and sent it to Manchester United. He got called and hes a part of their academy now. I would suggest wait for the soccer camps at United in the summer or try out for one of your local teams.

You could snoop around the lisbon website for soccer camps. All i can say is try out for a local team before you spend a bunch of money of a soccer camp in a foreign country. Who knows maybe you could dominate the canadian teams and then some big club would buy u.

How many countries vote in the ICC?

We Answered:

YEAH sadly mate some of them are, they think there's this big conspiracy where Australia control every aspect of world cricket (including the umpires) it borders on delusional and i feel sorry for some of them because they are obviously un-educated souls.

the umpiring was terrible in the sydney test no question-but what has that got to do with Australia? anyone would think we chose their side plus the umpires and then sat down and wrote a script-you have to laugh haHA.

How would you create a professional development program for local police agency?

We Answered:

I'd say develop community relations. Crime Prevention and learning to spot prospective criminals. Then there's risk management and training for community crisis management. I'd add in some humanity and women studies so that when they interview rape victims they'd have more heart. I'd also assess what items need to be strengthened in the police dept as a whole and as a team.

I'm pursuing a career in personal financial planning, where do I start?

We Answered:

If you are just starting out, consider contacting larger financial companies- investment firms like Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, etc. or insurance companies like MetLife, Pru or John Hancock.

These companies will train you, get you licensed (for securities and insurance) and help you start your career. You may find that you really enjoy working for a big company- there are some benefits- or you may find after a few years that you would like to be on your own. That's what I did and have been successfully self-employed since I was 26 years old. (I'm 38 now.)
