Martin Said:
What is a good career/occupation for someone "good at school" ?We Answered:
A job with objective tasks and evaluation of success. Hmm, sounds like something like an insurance actuary or a CPA at the high end in terms of pay and education required, and a clerk or bookkeeper at the lower end would be good career paths. Its good that you already have insight into the things you enjoy and the things that cause you stress. I think its far better to have a job you enjoy that pays enough to live on than a job you don't enjoy that pays a lot more.

What foreign language would best promote a career in scientific research? We Answered:
I agree with Andrew (there are many publication in German in almost every research area) and disagree with Alaric: Russian still is. There are lots and lots of valuable information just buried in archives, because no one wants to study Russian any more, and many Russians are not so good in foreign languages. My husband which is doing a research in Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer and related areas still uses many sources in Russian. And the difficulty of Russian is not the alphabet, believe me :)Violet Said:
