What Is Development Education

Randall Said:

What is the role of philosophy in the development of Education?

We Answered:

many educational models are based on the teaching methods of Socrates, the Socratic method, where students think about how the information they are being taught relates to them...it is a matter of teaching where students learn by making connections between what they are being taught and their own lives...there have been 100s of different educational philosophies that people4 have used too start schoools or to justify different teaching methods, there are tooo many to gey involved in here...look up Horace Mann, Montessori, Free School Model...

Lori Said:

What recent development in education seems to be the most exciting and promising to you? Why?

We Answered:

Homeschooling.

Homeschooled kids (contrary to the myth) get out of the classroom and into real life. They control their own educations and are not dependent on a bureaucracy.

All the best.

Willie Said:

Can someone help me with some human growth and development questions?

We Answered:

Professional development refers to "activities to enhance professional career growth." Such activities may include individual development, continuing education, and inservice education, as well as curriculum writing, peer collaboration, study groups, and peer coaching or mentoring.

Professional development helps teachers learn new roles and teaching strategies that will improve student achievement.

My own personal opinion is that a teacher is one who is always learning and thereby conveys the enthusiasm of learning to her/his classroom.

Margaret Said:

What is the difference between a child development degree and an elementary education degree?

We Answered:

The child development encompasses the whole child years which includes infancy and toddler...the elementary education focuses more on the time of life when the child is in school...my sister is a teacher and she did the early childhood education because it gave her a broader spectrum

Judy Said:

what is more necessary for rural development, education or industrialization?

We Answered:

Definitely education. If you look at communities that made efforts to expand industrially, you'll find areas of higher crime, low income housing, low rates of high school graduation, etc... Industrializtion does not bring higher education. When looking at areas that expanded during the Industrial Revolution, those areas now have a high low-income population and low percentages of college track youth, as well as high crime and large crime syndicates.
Thus said, communities that developed via educationally, the quality of life is high, low crime rates, high percentage of youth going to college and lower percentage of divorce and single parent households. Examples are Evanston, IL; Johnson County, KS; and other thriving suburban communities.

Keith Said:

What is the significance of one's Spiritual development to education?

We Answered:

Some educational institutions promote the significance of one's spiritual development because development is the key to education.

Not all educational institutions promote this particular side of development.

The significance of one's spiritual development to education is immense.

Without education spiritual development is left in a very primitive state. With education spiritual development is a continuing thirst for more. The more one learns the more one wants to learn. The more one learns the more one becomes aware that there is more to learn.

The more one learns the more one begins to understand that spiritual development is exercise that craves more education. One begins to understand that the spirit is not to be limited.

Whew!

Let me stop there.
