Agnes Said:

What exactly do the ASIS Do? (Australian Secret Intelligence Service) *Read for more info*?

We Answered:

ASIS is the overseas spy agency of the Australian government and is part of the Prime Minister's Department. Staff can be attached to Australian embassies in foreign countries either as "open" agents who frequently liaise with the local intelligence service or as "hidden agents" (using another form of diplomatic cover -- i.e as a Political Attache or as a Press Attache or as part of another department) or they can be stationed in a foreign country under some disguise as an Australian Businessmen. Their job is to obtain military, political and even industrial secrets. Their role is purely outside of Australia.

ASIS also liaises with ASIO, the internal Spy agency in Australia and with the Australian Federal Police and even work with the State police occasionally.

Others work at their headquarters in Canberra, often in roles of analysts.

Yes, they are trained in the use of weapons but they are rarely needed.

Sheila Said:

I like to find a Wine Company that could use my services ....?

We Answered:

Are you Australian? If so, go the the Aussie embassy and ask for a list of the Australian importers, contact them and see if you can do anything for them.
If you are not Australian, you still have to contact companies in Vietnam that import Australian wines. Sometimes they are looking for in-store demonstrators. You never know.
Or, you can buy some Australian wines, read the label to find out the importer and contact them that way.

Margaret Said:

Should I change careers?

We Answered:

There really is no such thing as job security anymore. With the Bush Administration everything is going down hill all over the world. I say just stick with what you have and save as much money as you can, then when the day comes and you find yourself out of work you have something to fall back on. If you do a good job and are the best at what you do, your boss with keep you. Many people are loosing their jobs all over the world in every industry. I would say stay in one field of work untill your number is up. Switching jobs now means you might start over but with lower pay and less experience, leaving you vulnerable for the next big culling. If you stay and your record is good, then you will hopefully avoid being cut out. If you think that your curent lifestyle exceeds what you could make if your income was cut, then make necessary changes now. Save money and continue. I would gladly do a job I hate if it meant money to live on. Even in these troubled times, over a job I love but pays poorly. Do you agree?
