Question About College & Firefighting Career ?We Answered:
you can go down to you nearest fire dept and they will answer ALL of your questions, however, it is recommended that you at least accumulate 60 college creds before you become a firefighter because chances are youll get tired of it and have some creds under your built will help you get back to college n stuff. i suggest you finish your studies first tho, especially with the way things are in our economy. The physical part of the exam included running up and down flights of stairs numerous times with heavy weights on your back.. and thats just one of the tests. A lot of ppl flunk out believe it or not cuz of the fire hose exam. The force of the water is difficult to handle.
But yeah, just stop by ur local nyc firehouse. Theyre only everywhere lol
