Yes, there are career inventory assessments that measure your preference for certain kinds of activities and correlate your choice to suggested careers. The Kuder Interest Inventory is one that is generally available through a high school guidance office. Another is the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Test Battery), and no you don't need to enlist if you take that one. There is also a computerized guidance program called "Discover", that works the same way.
