I start work October 5, we are paid every two weeks, when do i get paid?We Answered:
You will get your first paycheck not more than 3 weeks after you start. Usually, pay periods end 1 week before a payday. The following week is used to process paychecks for distribution on Friday. If you start work at the beginning of the pay period, you'll get a full check. If you start work in the middle of the pay period, you'll get a short check becuse you would not have worked the full pay period.

Did you have luck finding a job through your alma mater? We Answered:
Yes and no. Yes, career services "helped" me find a job, but, here's where the "no" part comes in, the guy who was in charge of the career services laughed at me when he saw what my degree was in. He told me no one was going to hire me with my degree and that I wasted my money. (My degree is in Art & Art Therapy, and I graduated with Honors.)Roberto Said:
I'd like to work as an employee at an employment agency but not be a client.?We Answered:
If i personally loved helping people find jobs such as yourself i would go to a local agency and ask them if they have any openings and say okay what can i do to work here if there aren't just tell them your story and im sure they will listen and give you plenty of info on what you can do. Good LuckLeon Said:

Should I attend a career fair? Have you had any success with career fairs? We Answered:
I've had a lot of success with career fairs. They are good for people who are adept at talking with recruiters and are able to sell themselves. My advice would be to dress professionally, have resumes ready and know what to say to the recruiters. It takes time and practice. The first couple of times out might not be that successful. However, if you learn from your mistakes and do not give up, you should find some success.I also advice you to keep seeking employment in the traditional ways that you have listed. Looking for work is a full time job in itself (as the cliche goes) and the more effort you pour into it the more opportunities you will find. Don't let failures get to you. Most people will have way more failures than successes. But even just one success will count.
Good luck.
