Shirley Said:
Where on the internet can I find good resources for career/guidance counseling? We Answered:
No problem. o*net is a website with a complete occupational information. There, you will be able to find information based on knowledge, skills, abilities (KSA), work activities, industry growth, interests, work values.Once you select a career you will learn about the tasks, tools & technology, KSAs, work context, job zone, work styles, work values, related occupations, wages & trends, and more, for the chosen career on a state and national scale.
It just contains an amazing array of information on anything you can ask. They even offer a skills search. Good luck and I certainly think this is all you will need.

Career in guidance counseling?We Answered:
if you decide to go into the counseling field, you should consider many things. It, at times, could make you feel very stressed out, about equivalent to becoming a teacher. A guidance counselor, for high school, is usually more stressful than elementary. A high school counselor has to help Seniors with college applications, SAT info, scholarship info, and a bunch more. Then, they would have to help prepare the 9th, 10th, and 11th graders who are college bound. (plus all the schedule changes throughout the year). I'm a junior in high school, and probably stress out my counselor way too much, so i should know about this. If you want to be a guidance counselor, go for elementary, unless you like a challenge. Hope my answer helps you decide your future better!Deborah Said:
