Here are some ideas:
1. Leverage your customer service experience. Look for project management related opportunities in the customer service field.
2. Look for assistant PM roles, or other support roles in a PMO.
3. Do some project management work for a non-profit on a volunteer basis.
4. Join your local PM professional organisation to network and volunteer'
5. Get some good tool training eg. MS Project or Primavera, and use that skill as a foot in the door.

you could go several ways. buyer for a store who's demographics you know and understand is a good option. you could move into marketing within the company, but would most likely need to relocate. you could also become a customer service supervisor (i noticed your training experience) with a larger company not specializing in retail. actually, you could move into any number of business type jobs within a larger company, working on the training aspect or customer service aspect. in the end, really, you should shoot for the moon and try for whatever you want.

I would say you could go to work for a health care insurance or you might try one of the hospitals or even government . As for your starting salary especially in the current economic climate would be a Wag. A Wag is a term used in several industries particularly Transportation also the military to mean a wild *** guess

You could apply and possibly get accepted into the CIA or the FBI as well as employment at any police force. You might want to consider placing a application for management at a personal security company....security for the spoiled movie stars and such.
