Career Objective Customer Service

Angel Said:

need a resume objective/goal that is not career specific?

We Answered:

You don't need need resume. You need to first of all decide what you want to do. Then once you have narrowed that down to 3 or 4 areas - then you need to write a good resume and tailor it for each kind of resume. Otherwise you are just going to be expending a lot of energy getting nowhere!

Duane Said:

good objective or not?

We Answered:

Career driven professional seeking a position to work in a challenging environment and to horne my skills in client satisfaction ,administrative and strong organizational skills.

Does this sound better ?

Mike Said:

How can i beef up this objective for my resume??

We Answered:

remove data entry, it plays down your ability to think and be an individual. data entry to me sounds like desk monkey!

career objective: actively pursue a self actualizing, fulfilling career with a progressive, forward thinking organisation which matches my ambition, skills set and experience. To add value to my post and improve provision of service.

Note: DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING WHICH YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR CANNOT EXPLAIN IN AN INTERVIEW SITUATION!

i find honesty about your ambition and enthusiasm is the best way to go. remember- these people have heard all the buzz words before! be honest!

Leonard Said:

Ok, let me get your opinion: Which Career Objective Statement sounds better...?

We Answered:

How about

"To pursue my passion for the law by transferring the skills that I have developed by working in customer service to a role in Legal Support."

?

Willard Said:

How should I tailor my resume for a job fair?

We Answered:

To achieve success in your job search, make sure your resume addresses the needs of the employer. i.e., use customized resumes instead of generic ones.

Leverage your experience in various domains and tailor your resume for specific positions.

An objective statement in a resume is passé.

Instead of writing an objective, write a strong summary of your experience, skills, and education, in your resume, that focuses on fulfilling the needs of the employer. Be sure to write a separate summary for each areas of your experience.
