if you mean to work in the DCD (Department for Community Development) you would probably end up as a social worker for foster care... my parents are foster carers and we deal with alot of social workers it is a highly demanded job for the only reason that they have such a high turn over... it is a really stressfull job and you have an extremely heavy case load... my foster siblings are 7, 3 and 6 months and they have already gone through 5 social workers and they have only been in care for 3 years.... so yeah is a highly demanded job but it obviously isnt worth it or they would stay longer... we are in desperate need for good social workers so i commend you for your choice... god knows my social worker is buried under piles of paper work... i seriously doubt if she even knows my name...
