Details on dual army marriages?

We Answered:

It has worked out fine for my husband and me. We were both already Marines when we joined, and our job fields were totally different, but we were able to be stationed together. They can station you apart for up to two years, though, so be prepared for that. The military is a really demanding profession. If you think it's for you, go for it, but be prepared for some tough times. The hours can suck, the treatment isn't always ideal, and there are days when you'll wonder what you were thinking. You could also find you really enjoy what you do and the life you lead.
I've actually enjoyed the time apart for deployments and things. That sounds really weird, I'm sure, but it gave us a lot of time to appreciate what we loved about the other person, since we were missing them so much. When we were together we were nicer to each other because we knew what it was like to be apart. Like any marriage, I don't think it will be the military that will make or break your marriage, but the attitudes the two of you maintain during it. If you're both willing to put the time, effort, and work into maintaining your marriage, you'll do fine. I do recommend (just some general marriage advice) that you stay conscious of the needs of the marriage. Many couples get complacent and forget to do the things that made them initally fall in love with each other, then wonder why they don't feel the same after a few years of basically ignoring the romance in the relationship. Make sure you go on dates, take the time to compliment each other, and in general try to stay friends with each other, and your marriage will last longer.

What are my chances of getting into a good college?

We Answered:

I'm a sophomore as well. You have a higher GPA...uhm, I'm kind of surprised with the PSAT scores compared to your GPA though. I scored in the 88th percentile. I'm worried bout college as well, but it seems like you'll get in. Just study like crazy for the SAT's and the ACT's. Good luck!!!!!! Keep the grades up, with a GPA of 3.9 you've got a good chance to get in whatver you want.
