Internships and volunteering at local mental health facilities, hospitals, care centers, etc. should be top priority. Call around to different places that interest you and ask if they need volunteers/interns. It will look good on your resume, plus it will help you get your foot in the door.

The same thing I'd think if someone ate the wrong food at a fast food place and then sued them because he got fat.

If you aren't getting the service you want or need, you go where you do get that service, not sue because you were dumb enough to keep getting somethings that was substandard.
