There is a new job board I found on my travels when recently looking for a new job its called mycompliancejobs.com and rather obviously has the web address, www.mycompliancejobs.com. I seems to have compliance careers advice on there. It looks like quite a new site. I usually also look on www.complianceonline.co.uk and www.complinet.com for actual jobs but neither of them seem to have a specific careers advice section. Hope this helps.

It sounds like you are trying to emigrate from Britain to the US. Although I have no experience with this, it will be difficult to find a firm in the US who can help you find employment unless you have a very useful, specific skill that is somewhat rare in the US. Not impossible, mind you, since Microsoft here in Seattle manages to get hundreds if not thousands of Indians and Chinese to come work for them stating they can not find qualified US employees!

One alternative may be working for a multinational company that has postings in the US. In that case, I'd work with a company in the British city in which you reside. If you have graduated from an institution of higher learning, you can ask for assistance from that institution.

Also, since you state you have family in the US, you might want to ask them for advice as they could probably root someone out in the locality in which they reside.

Anyway, I would love to be in Britain since, as a member of the EU, I could work in France or anywhere else in Europe if I wanted!
