Dartmouth Univ. Info?

We Answered:

Check out the Dartmouth website at www.dartmouth.edu

It's a wonderful school, and very competitive (it's Ivy League!). Almost 90% of the incoming freshman class graduated from high school in the top 10% of their class.

Apply early, and if you're sure you want to go there, apply Early Decision. You'll probably want to major in Chemistry, but I would recommend you speak to an academic adviser at the college.

Dartmouth requires you to submit SAT I (or ACT) as well as any two SAT II scores.

Evelyn Said:

Would someone please read and critique my motivational statement for commission? Any help is appreciated.?

We Answered:

Sounds good. One thing I might change is the first two sentences:

My family has had a long history in the military. I have had one grandfather in the Air Force, and another in the Army.

to something like....

My family has a long history of serving honorably in the military. One grandfather was in the Air Force, and another in the Army.
Good Luck!

Chances at Dartmouth/Brown?

We Answered:

You have a fine record. Apply to both and also to Cornell. The two you mentioned take fewer than one of six qualified applicants like you on account of space limitations. Good luck.
