I'm not sure what career to choose. ?We Answered:
Well honestly if you think you will be happy as a Dental Hygienist and it will be stable for you and your little one then personally I would go that way... but that is just what I would do.Overall I would do whatever would make you the happiest and the most stable. :D

Is Dental one of AFROTC's career opportunities? We Answered:
In your second year of ROTC, before you contract unless you're on scholarship, you find out if you have a dental slot, meaning basically that, if you can get into a dental school, the air force will pay for it and you'll owe time after. If you do not get a slot they won't pay for it.One guy I know applied for a slot this year and was not awarded one, so he was able to drop out entirely without owing the Air Force anything (again, he was not contracted on scholarship). Since you contract after you pass Field Training even if you didn't have a scholarship before, and FT takes place during the summer after your second year (in most cases), one other option you have in that case is to postpone FT by another year, try to get your grades up, and reapply. The downside of doing this is that you're basically stuck in school then for an extra year, but some people think it's worth it.

Can a permanent resident pursue an Air Force "general career"?We Answered:
Non citizens dont get clereance for some jobs (the really high tech/high speed stuff) but what you have in mind should be available for you. If you enlist you can apply for citizenship right awayKaren Said:
what career should i choose? We Answered:
Medical will always give good career options. If you go into medical then Reserve Civil Affairs after active duty, you would be in a position to do the medical assistance deployments to different countries. My Reserve unit sent a team to Mali last year. They did medical and veterinary assistance there in support of USAID.
