Amy Said:
Is it possible to get adult career counseling for free?We Answered:
Yes, contact St. Joseph's Church, Manor Avenue, Downingtown, Pennsylvania -www.stjoesdtown.org, email stjoeparishsec@yahoo.com,
Joseph's People - is the name of the group.....and they will help you with anything....check your resume...give you info, and they have no interest in what religion they are.
Whatever you need, Joseph's People has a group of volunteers that give and give and give....to help people with whatever they need......St. Joseph is the saint in the church that is known for his career as a carpenter...and he is the adopted father of Jesus.
I support them, and now they have groups elsewhere too!

Can someone advise where I can get free advice on living with an alcoholic? Please, I need someone to talk to?We Answered:
While DM is absolutely correct in advising Alcoholics Anonymous, that will be for your boyfriend if you can convince him to go there, this is their link in the US,http://www.aa.org/lang/en/meeting_finder…
AA however is not a support group for the 'victims' of alcoholism, that's called Al-Anon/Alateen depending on how old you are.
http://www.al-anon.alateen.org/meetings/…
This is a sister group to AA and was set up to help people in exactly the same position as yourself, they will help you to understand your boyfriend's problems and how to cope with them.
You will find people there in exactly the same position as yourself and you would be made most welcome.

Career advice? Please help!?We Answered:
Option C...You will get a bursary for this and id take it now because next year the bursaries will stop. you will have adequate funding and excellent placement opportunities. and once you are qualified to be a nurse a lot of NHS trusts will pay for you to specialise in midwifery whilst still earning a good wage in nursing. Midwives are required to be NMC registered...do the nursing, do not waste time doing sociology, it will actually get you nowhere. 3 years it will take to do sociology then you will still need to do another 3 to do the midwifery training! 6 years at uni= hefty price.also, ive know people to enter this course without biology...but recent years have proved a very high demand in nursing and midwifery so therefore they have toughened the entry requirements. Deffo option c.

Career advice needed from practicing illustrators and/or visual artists? We Answered:
okay, there are a couple things you ned to know. most "good" illustrators either work freelance or on-call for an ad agency, software knowledge is a must n the digital world. To be competitive in the world of illustration you need to be flexible (stylewise) however you must also devolp a look that is "yours".I suggest the following literature:
How to be a successful illustrator : a practical guide
by Ray Evans
Publisher: London : Batsford, 1993.
ISBN: 0713466340 : 9780713466348 | OCLC: 28500281

I need career advice...Psychiatrist or Psychologist?We Answered:
Just about everyone gets to a psychology class and gets interested and wants to choose that for their life's profession. The sad part about either of your choices is that there isn't a lot of demand in that field. For the time put in, I suggest you look around for a rewarding career that has lots of openings as well as good pay. I always have to wonder why someone thinks they have what it takes to give other people life altering advice. That's why they make you take all those general classes for the first two years in college. Not only does it broaden your horizons, it opens up opportunities to find out just what you are interested in. If you want to change the world, do a stint in the Peace Corps.Kristen Said:
where can you get free advice on the internet for uni and careers in the UK?We Answered:
Try the BBC, or UCAS, at http://www.ucas.ac.uk/Hope that helps,
