I'm trying to figure out the same thing right now. Think about what you do in your free time for fun? For me I found when i'm bored I get on the computer, so im thinking of going back to school for something computer related. But just think of what would make you happy doing everyday and what you have fun with. Then research those fields and make sure there is a good market out there for it. Th minute that you stop thinking of your work as just a 'job' you are on your way to a career.

A career is something that you get by enjoying what you do and staying in that particular industry / company for a long time because it drives you, it makes you feel good, and you are sucessful in doing it.

Career is such a hard word to truly define.. but this is what I feel is the meaning...Good Luck in your search!
