Ron Said:

can anybody help me improve this memorandum....those good with english and grammar?

We Answered:

Here is the edited letter:

There is always a chance of racing toward a deadline and suddenly having an equipment failure. The following are a few suggestions to help you prevent or cope with technical equipment and system failures:

• Stay calm. There are many technical failures that are commonplace in business. It is very likely that your supervisors and co-workers will understand that you are having problems and the reasons for them.

• Practice preventive maintenance: Use the proper cleaning cloths and spray regularly to clean the computers. Keep liquids and foods away from keyboards and printers. Make sure that systems are shut down before you leave at night.

• It is important for quick repairs to report any computer failures promptly to Bart Stone, Assistant Director of Information Services ext. 2238. He will get to the problems as soon as possible. However, you must remember there are many people demanding his attention at any given time. So be patient.

• If you suspect that a problem may be developing, don’t wait until the last moment to call for assistance.

• When a last-minute technical failure threatens to disrupt your composure, you may want to consider taking a walk to calm down.

Lost tempers, violent outbursts, and rude language are threatening to your co-workers. They also may result in reprimands or other disciplinary actions. By calling technical support lines for help, your equipment will stay in good working order and keep us productive and useful.

The last suggestion is perhaps the most important. The timely implementation of repairs is a primary concern for you and the company. Ask your supervisor for a list of support telephone numbers. Then, the next time you experience a technology glitch with your equipment, there will be help for you to call on.

Sincerely,

What do you think? What breed or mixes fits this. Lots of detail :)?

We Answered:

You may want to look into dogs in the Toy group--Pomeranians and Papillons may be something you're interested in. You may also want to look at Shelties or American Eskimos.

Understand that small dogs won't be able to do much running with you (though they can do some, it may be harder for them to keep up) and often small dogs as well as Shelties can be barkers, so you'll want to get that under control before you move into an apartment.

You may also consider a Greyhound..they're a little larger (around 60 lbs) and aren't fluffy, but they're great apartment dogs and can run with you as well.

Any way you decide to go, check into the breed club to look for reputable breeders in your area and talk to THEM. They'll know if their breed is right for the type of lifestyle you can give it, and they'll also know their pups well enough to make a good match.

Another thing: when your pup is young, you may want to consider having a dog walker or friend pop in during the day and give the dog a bit of exercise and a chance to relieve him/herself.

Hope that helps.
