Do I have a chance of getting into NYU?We Answered:
You have a great chance. If you have honors then you will make it. NYU looks for people in AP or Honors, maybe one College Prep wouldn't hurt your chances. A 97-98 is a GREAT average. NYU has a great Middle Eastern Studies program, so you will love it! Good luck!Francisco Said:
Can I get accepted into NYU?We Answered:
Your freshman and sophomore profiles look pretty good, but don't be too cocky about junior year. In most high schools, the jump from sophomore year to junior year is immense in terms of workload and difficulty. But with the usual reduction in GPA during your junior year, I think you'll be fine. For your junior year, I would suggest cutting back on your extracurriculars: you're looking a little bit sporadic. Choose maybe 3 areas you want to focus on (ex. chorus, newspaper, and comm serv.) and develop your leadership positions in those activities.Everything looks fine as long as you work hard and stay focused! Just remember not to pin ALL your dreams on NYU. There are lots of great schools out there, NYU is just one of many!

What to do after graduating? We Answered:
Seriously evaluate if the money you will put into a graduate degree will be returned. Graduate school can be expensive and may not be required for the job you want. Some employers may consider 'real world' experience as more valuable than some extra letters after your name. You are right that most employers will not care about your GPA, but only what it represents (namely that you are not a slacker). Here are some sites that give questions you should ask yourself to decide if you should go to grad school.http://www.swarthmore.edu/SocSci/tburke1…
