How hard is it to get into MI5 or MI6?We Answered:
I think you should check their websites, but I think it's very difficult to get into the MI5 or the MI6. It takes skill and ingenuity. You need to be quick brained and smart. MI5 works on security and MI6 works on Intelligence and Operations.Amy Said:
I'm looking to change careers. I studied Finance in college & currently work at a stock exchange but I hate itWe Answered:
the field of finance is pretty broad. if you enjoy working with people you could looking into the banking industry, or you could try teaching which might require more education depending on the level you want to teach. since you have some accounting background, there are also jobs you can get in the accounting department at companies, business managers at schools. the best thing i can tell you is check and see what's open around you or give your current job more of a chance. it may grow on you. if not, i am sure there is somehting else out there in the same field. good luckJimmie Said:
WHERE CAN I FIND HONEST COLLEGE ADVIORS?We Answered:
You've been getting some really bad advice. Miller Monte is not a regionally accredited schools (Trident Tech is — my mistake). Miller Monte is a "for-profit" school.Best thing for you to do would be to make an appointment to see a real guidance counselor at a local state college or Trident Tech.
My guess is being a teacher is out of reach for you. Perhaps a vocational program such as Welding or Bakery Arts would suit you better.

I am a freshmen in a local college but i am unable to select my major, what should i do? ?We Answered:
That's easy. The only career you mentioned that pays well is Accounting. Start planning your career early and studying to take the CPA while still in school. The test is tough and most people don't pass first time. Make sure you are one of the few that do. You definitely want a masters degree. Corporate accounting and various specialties pay alot more so persue these avenues. Basically, be able to provide a service not commonly available if you want to make the big bucks. Or seek out a company that sponsors your career. In other words, you pursue the type of accounting they need, while in the masters portion of your education....they agree to hire you when you graduate.....which is how you break into corporate accounting. Alternatively, find a moderate sized local company in need of an accountant and build a practice around them.Katrina Said:
Community college, University, or take a year off and work full time?We Answered:
Go to university. Paying all that money will incentivize graduating for you. Also, I've heard my friends tell me they are "taking a year off" which then turns into "never coming back". So please don't take the year off option. It's too easy to never go back!Caroline Said:
Is it possible to take college courses while doing high school? We Answered:
Yeah, I'm sure you can. Just take a few class at a community college. You won't have to pay the as much as a regular college student because you are in high school. You'll save money and have to do less in college. Ask your councilor to recommend a few classes or go to the college and see what they say. They'll probably have a few specific classes in mind.If you do good in them, colleges will look at you in a better light because you took those classes in high school. even if you don't do good, you can aways retake the class...
Hope this helps and good luck!
