undergraduate internships plzz help!!!?We Answered:
What school do you go to?Edit: Im a freshman in college and I am doing the same thing. What I would do if your college is career service is not able to help you is find out what companies you are interested in working in. Go on their website and go to the career path of the site. Most of these companies will have applications for internships. I was surprise on how many I found on my own

Do I need an objective on my resume when applying for an internship? We Answered:
The key to a good resume is brevity. Lots of whitespace which accentuates a concise listing of positive achievements. Try something like:Finance student seeks accounting internship with Tax Leads Services
You need to look at this from the perspective of a hiring manager who has seen hundreds or thousands of resumes. They don't want to read resumes, and spend 30-60 seconds max per resume. Do them a favor and leave out the same crappy resume jargon that they read over and over again.
Instead of saying you have "oustanding academic achievement" simply list your 3.8 GPA. Instead of "firmly developed problem solving and mathematical aptitude" list some of the advanced courses you've taken. Instead of "strong organizational skills" state that you worked part time while enrolled in a full time student while participating in a non profit. The point is to not just list attributes, say things that demonstrate those attributes and let them connect the dots. One page maximum resume!

i would like to have a career in I.T. ? what is my first step to become competent? We Answered:
If you want to be in IT then you should be getting a degree in Computer Science, that is the first step.Shawn Said:
i need anyone who has a career in social service or counsling to answer this?We Answered:
Not all universities require academic advisers to have Master's degrees. However, earning your Master's degree will make you more marketable and only help you get a better paying job.For your other job option of working with pregnant teens, you might consider majoring in Counseling and Guidance or Social Work. Again, a Master's degree will help you get a higher paying job.
Best wishes!

I'm taking a degree in Mathematics (BSc. Undergraduate). Is it possible to go into medicine/nursing?We Answered:
You need Maths at Higher/A Level and two of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Generally, you need all As to do medicine at any good university. I think you'd probably have to start at the start though... Can't really skip a year of learning stuff like the fact that the positive sign for a torn posterior cruciate ligament is a 5mm translocation to the posterior of the knee.
