Military Schools and Colleges?

We Answered:

Some of the differences with the academies and regular ROTC are that while at the academies, you will be able to do so much more as far as the summer programs go and what not. With ROTC you will get to live a pretty normal college life. You will be able to party more, wear civilian clothes to class, there will be more women, etc. It's really about what you want. You will graduate as a 2nd Lieutenant regardless.

Graduates from the academies technically do not have more opportunities for advancement. You will be an O-1 upon graduation.

I am not sure about West Point, but I know that the Naval Academy and the Air Force Academy do not have Psychology programs. VMI and The Citadel do. That's what I wanted to do too. They do have Political Science though, and you will get a Bachelor of Science.

The Citadel and VMI both have all branches of ROTC. I don't know about the second question, sorry.
