There are good people and bad people everywhere. Don't get sucked into stereo-types (southern men treat women better).

I certainly wouldn't make a life decision based on a states laws regarding car insurance, nor would I based on a chat room conversation with someone on the Internet.

If you're in your mid-40's and you can't afford car insurance, you've got bigger problems than your love life. Get your career straightened out and the rest will fall in place on it's own.

There is NO reason whatsoever for you not to have your dreams fulfilled. All you really need is a desire & a will to work twds. your goals. You've already done that in your life so far up to this point. You seem like a very determined person. I see no reason why you cannot live a happy life w/someone who w/return the love you have to give. You certainly do have a very positive attitude twds. life itself & know in advance just what you want. I'm sure there is a special someone who wants the same as you do. Age to me is just a number, it's your attitude & drive that w/get you your dreams. Just hold on to your positive attitude & I don't foresee any reason why you can't have exactly what you're striving for. Your guess is as good as mine. You do know the USA is having another great depression right now, don't you? That is why I dread having to go back there. The only reason I ever go back there is because my parents are there, and as a single, unemployed girl, I have to keep going back and living them when I am jobless.

I mean, I hear these days of how now McDonald's can even have their pick of applicants. Before, most people would not even try to work there, but now, places like Taco Bell get tons of applicants for 1 or 2 openings. Good luck to both of us. I say you should open up to the idea of even leaving the USA.

Not likely. He was convicted (by taking the plea agreement). The conviction will be used as evidence in civil court that what she said did indeed happen. The best defense for slander is proving that what you said was true.

stay honest and keep filling out applications. Don't let a negative thought come into your head. Not one!. Take any job you can get. Any job... at first. Then move up from there. Any job would be better than where you are now.
