Is anyone here a Financial Planner? Help me start my career on the right path...?We Answered:
I am not sure the steps in Canada but in the US, You need to get either a CFA (certified financial adviser)or CFP (certified financial planner)after you complete school. Both of those require some classwork but primarily its just about passing the test and getting licensed. As far as salary, Its usually a commission based position so it depends on your own personal productivity. A successful financial planner in the US will make anywhere from 150k on up.

HELP! What college is best for me? Any suggestions!?We Answered:
You can find this list at any school. Think more about life after college.Your goal is to make money. Therefore, graduating from somewhere that has a good rep is important to finding the best jobs. You're too broad right now. Those 3 careers are really different so narrow to one and go to the best school for it.
Personally, I'd go to Berkley. Stanford is not too great as I think Palo Alto is boring. NYU is in the city so campus life is not traditional (it seems like you're at work more than college).
I say don't overlook middle America. There are awesome schools all around.
