Sara Said:what is the equivalency between aptitude test scores and IQ scores?
We Answered:MENSA used to accept SAT scores as a substitute for IQ scores to join, but they haven't done that in many years now. You can study for the SATs; you can't study for a real IQ test. Real ones don't test your knowledge of math or English.
Terrance Said:Recalling that SAT scores are always expressed as multiples of 10, how many points did you get on the test?
On the TI-83, normalcdf(0,x,500,100) = 664.4853.
The first multiple of 10, at or above that number is 670. <==ANSWER E
I hope that helps!! :-)
Benjamin Said:The mean score of students on an aptitude test is 72 points with a standard deviation of 8 points.?
We Answered:Very small for both questions.
According to the Central Limit theorem, the means of the two groups of students should be 72 points. However the standard deviation is 28 / (number of students)^0.5
Therefore, the standard deviation of:
A (28) = 1.512
B (36) = 1.333
Since they are both small (relative to 3 and 6), the probability is very small.
Bertha Said:my composite score for management aptitude test is 544.is that a good score?
