MENSA used to accept SAT scores as a substitute for IQ scores to join, but they haven't done that in many years now. You can study for the SATs; you can't study for a real IQ test. Real ones don't test your knowledge of math or English.

According to the Central Limit theorem, the means of the two groups of students should be 72 points. However the standard deviation is 28 / (number of students)^0.5
Therefore, the standard deviation of:
A (28) = 1.512
B (36) = 1.333
Since they are both small (relative to 3 and 6), the probability is very small.
