Career And Personality

Billie Said:

What would be a good career for this personality type?

We Answered:

Find and read the Color Code book by Taylor Hartman. Answer the 45 question assessment contained therein. It is one of the absolute best books for understanding how you tick and how others see you. Once you've established your primary and secondary colors the book also suggests career fields suited for you. Rather than listening to the opinions of others this book will help you find your own answers and...the only important answers to your life rest within you not in others opinions.

Since you mention depression and other mental illnesses I'm going to suggest another book for you to read it's called Toxic Parents. Also, if anyone in your family including grandparents, parents, siblings, uncles, etc. drink or for that matter abuse any substance or, if your family is dysfunctional, and I suspect they are given what you've written, you may want to find an Al Anon Meeting, i.e., if you're over 19, and begin attending the free, weekly meetings. If you're still a teenager, find an Al Ateen Meeting.

You might want to do Internet searches on co-dependency, boundaries, control, trust, perfectionism, anger, Al Anon.. Also there are on line Al Anon and Al Ateen Meetings.

Good luck and God bless.
