What are good quizzes or tests for finding a career? We Answered:
The ASVAB is a career aptitude test that is given in high school across the country each year. It is sponsored by the U.S. Military, so by taking the test and doing well -- it is VERY likely that military recruits will call and try to get you to join. When they do, simply ask them to take you off their call list. If they persist, ask to speak to their commanding officer (or at least how to contact them) and they will usually stop. The ASVAB gives tests in math, english, mechanics, reading, science, and I believe a couple of other categories. The test is not meant to be terribly hard, but to test a wide range of disciplines. The results of the test comes with career recommendations and a complete analysis and how to interpret your scores. The best part is -- its FREE. Usually, juniors will take the test at a high school. Other grades can sometimes take the test as well, if the school will permit it.
