But in this country today you will be lucky if you can find a job as a I.T tech Almost all of this work is out sourced today.Most programer today make little more than minimum wage. But if you are good and excell in your classes.start your own company, Thats were the money is.Make a plan were do you want to be five years from today. If you really want this. this is the only way. Unless you want to be a tester Go to the Id website. They created all the doom games and are in the middle of putting out doom 4. They are advertising that they are hiring. You can only get into video game testing if you live near a games developer that is hiring testers. This is not something they hire random people for over the internet. This is something that you have to apply for directly with the company - and usually requires you to come into the office to test the games so you can be watched by the programmers who see how you are playing, how long it takes you to get to a certain level the first time you played, how long it took you to figure out the controls, if there is a glitch what you did before it was discovered, etc. There is no company that finds random people on the internet, sends them games then asks them to play and report back - any site promising that is going to be a scam that takes your money and you'll never get any work
