As you go through your next two years of HS, if you concentrate on understanding the significance of the courses offered at Ferris State, any major deficiencies will become apparent to you and you have plenty of time to consider alternative Universities.

I'm in a Chinese family as well and as bitter as it sounds, there's essentially no way out of the rut we're in. Day in and day out my sister and I study sometimes, and we do yield good results - I'm in the top 1% of girls in my school - but it doesn't satisfy.
Let them see how hard you're working. Let them watch you work your guts out and then if you still don't get the mark, I'm sure your mother will come round. As cheesy and storybook-like as it sounds, she'll recognize that you did your level best and if you still face disgrace from your family after that, keep telling yourself that you did all you could and if you believe that grades you get now are really directly related to the success you're going to enjoy in your future, then tell yourself it's okay, because at least faced with this level of stress and difficulty, you didn't give up but instead pushed yourself to become a better person.

Live happy with the knowledge that you have never shortchanged yourself. That's my final advice. Whatever it means to you, do it.

Who i s this about? You or them and their pride, if you were my daughter I would be very proud, my daughter has a masters in physics and done well but you have done well and should get praise sometimes when parents go on too much it does not do their childrens natural creative spirit much good. I doupt Einstein had parents who went on all the time but who instead encouraged, If they are good parents they will love and forgive whatever and they are not living in China now.
At the end of the day its about how a person works in the job world what matters and gets along with people as well. People can get good grades buts its putting them to work. Be proud of yourself even if they fall to pieces which i think is silly of them, and sometimes you just have to live without people,s approval and do what suits you in this life as you are the one who has to spend time at the univeristy. Hopefully one day they will come to their senses. Dont compare yourself with your brother. You have to see it in reality, you have done well they are the one with the issues give yourself praise and encouragment for what you have achieved dont let their disapproval get you down. How well have they done anyway? I bet they are not perfect. They love you but dont let them rule you. If they dont like it all that is their problem. You are dong very well talk to someone about this it will help you relise you cannot live your life to please them and why should you. God bless you.

Ok you need to stop worrying.

I work in a college with university status and if your cousin's english is so terrible he should have been asked if he needed any help translating which it sounds like he wasn't offered. There is no disgrace in his score at all under the circumstances.

You need to chill out also as you are doing well, expect a good score and should be proud that you are studying as many people cannot be bothered but you can study to hard and to much. You say your family will see it as a disgrace but if my family had that attitude I would see it as offending that while you have the score you need to go to uni they still are not happy.

You say that one uni is better than the other but in many cases the one that seems to not be as good turns out to be the better one for you as the better ones tend to put far more pressure on students while the other ones tend to be more willing to help students

Dont beat yourself up about it as you can always resit an exam if you want to to improve your grade, there is no dishonour in wanting to do that

First, what universe r u in where ur still in school.

Second, dont stress, then u'll really fail.

Third, ur fine, relax, ur gonna pass, ur not a normal teen, because ur worried about finals, when most of us are wondering what our facebook wallpaper should be, ur gonna do excellent on ur exams.

4. Chill, u've done amazing so far, now that u've worked so hard, u need to relax, thats the secret to acing tests, work hard then relax.

5. ur mind can only think when its at peace, if ur stressed, ur gonna forget things, and everything u studied will be useless.

6. dont wrry about ur mom, shes setting u up for disaster, ignore her and just be urself, moms have high expectations of their kids, and dont realise their just mentally and emotionally traumatizing us.

7. Good Luck on ur exams, hope u do get 99.95 :)
